Environmental Services Field Technician

Center of Excellence (CEHMM), a non-profit conservation and environmental services organization, is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Field Technician to assist and support activities primarily associated with the oil and gas energy sector. The position will be based out of the Carlsbad, NM office. Some of the duties and responsibilities of this position will include conducting onsite and conflict analyses of proposed activities and surveys for threatened or endangered species, along with the preparation of NEPA documents. These duties require rigorous manual labor and exposure to extreme weather temperatures on a consistent basis. A Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology or related field is preferred. NEPA experience and ArcGIS experience preferred. Salary range $14.00-$23.00 per hour. Send a letter, resume, and references to CEHMM, 505 N.
